The internationally acclaimed U.S. Army Jazz Ambassadors will present a free public performance on Nov. 7, co-sponsored by College of Southern Idaho and the Times-News.
The Ambassadors perform a diverse program of big band swing, Latin music, contemporary jazz, popular tunes, standards and Dixieland, as well as patriotic selections.
The Twin Falls performance will include "Moon River," "Beyond the Sea," "88 Basie Street" and "God Bless America," among other tunes.
As the premiere touring jazz ensemble of the U.S. Army, the Ambassadors travel thousands of miles each year across the world, supporting diplomatic efforts abroad and drumming up support for the troops at home.
