Halloween Fun

Here are some Halloween Events that are happening around the Magic Valley...if you have an event you want to post let us know!

• Faulkner Planetarium will show "Anthems of Ghoulish Delight." Songs include "Werewolves of London," "Monster Mash," "Dead Man's Party" and "Boris the Spider." Appropriate for most ages.

$4.50 each; under 2 free. Shows start at 8:15 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays through October.

• The Twin Falls and Jerome Optimist clubs will put on a haunted house in Old Towne. Billed as "the scaaaaaaariest spook house. With each group of Optimists to have a room in the old empty warehouse, it gets darker, deeper into the black hole of ghouls and goblins waiting for their prey." Proceeds go to Optimist youth programs. No refreshments available.

$5 adults, $3 children 9 and under. Less-scary house for children, 1-5 p.m. Saturday. Scarier house 6-10 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Oct. 31. 222 Fourth Ave. S. (old Globe Feed & Seed). Information: Wayne Bohrn, 539-6526.

• College of Southern Idaho's Horticulture Club is sponsoring its sixth annual corn maze at the northwest corner of the campus. The maze is a fundraiser sponsored by the club, which is assisted by members of the Phi Theta Kappa, Equine, Judo and Law Enforcement clubs.

Visitors are encouraged to bring flashlights for visits in the dark. Hamburgers, hot dogs, hot chocolate and other treats are available for sale at the maze entrance.

$3 for adults, $2 for students with activity cards, free for children under 7. Large groups may make reservations: 732-6431.

Open 5-10 p.m. every night through Oct. 31. Scare night will feature surprises and spooky attractions, 7-10 p.m. Saturday.
